The Diving

Rainbow ReefOur diving centres on the world famous Rainbow Reef - a 20 Mile (30Km) reef extending into the Somosomo Strait between Taveuni and Vanua Levu. The emphasis here is on spectacular soft corals and teeming marine life as the tidal current provides perfect conditions for incredible multi-coloured soft coral growth and magnificent hard coral formations. The world renowned Great White Wall complements a list of equally impressive sites including Annies Bommie, The Ledge, Yellow Grotto, Jerries Jelly. Blue Ribbon Eel Reef and the Cabbage Patch. The underwater terrain varies - a wide variety of drop-offs, tunnels and rainbow coloured bommies. Our dives are either from a fixed spot or drift dives depending on the conditions. Depths vary from 45 to 125 feet ( 15 to 39 metres). We cater to ALL levels of experience and expertise - your dive experience can be as challenging or relaxing as you wish.

The Dive Trips

Soft Coral We run trips every day - check-in time for our two-dive morning trip is at 8.00a.m. The boat ride to the Rainbow Reef takes about 30 minutes.

Comprehensive briefings are given prior to every dive. All dives are accompanied by experienced and qualified local guides. A deserted beach is usually the spot for our surface intervals where we supply light refreshments. The boat returns from our morning trip at around 1pm, leaving time for a late lunch and a relaxing afternoon. Night and afternoon dives are arranged on demand for a minimum of three divers.

The Boat

The BoatWe operate a 23 foot (7 metre) custom built aluminium dive boat. It is equipped with a custom designed boarding ladder, VHF radio, GPS, Depth Finder and full safety equipment to comply with Fiji Marine Department standards. We carry a 100% oxygen delivery system and first aid supplies at all times. There is a dry storage area, spare mask/fin straps etc and camera boxes. Powered by a 115HP Yamaha motor our cruising speed is 18-22 knots. A large canopy provides shade on board.

Rental Equipment
